"O, Fortuna" from Carl Orff's "Carmina Burana" is a truly amazing piece of music. It's often seen as something a bit "Viking" or "Knights in armour" related, but it's more to do with crops and the seasonal cycles. Thinking about doing a version was not a easy thought, with it being very vocal based and not easily recreated without "real" singers. In this version we used multiple samples, mixed with Mellotron (G Force M-Tron Pro) voices and strings. We threw a lot of distortion, reverb and delay to pad it all out a bit, and to disquise the limitations of the vocals. But all in all, it's not a bad first attempt.
