As my friends will tell you, I am a very big harpsichord fan. That's not to say I only like large harpsichords. No instrument conjures up the feel of "Baroque" than this keyboard. It plucks the strings, rather than hammers them like a piano action does. It is not touch sensitive, so no matter how hard you hit the keys the volume is the same. So it does have it's downsides, but one great thing is, you can play very fast pieces on this instrument. Below is actually a "live" performance I did on a real harpsichord a few years ago.  It came as a shock to the people there....why?....because this work of unknown origin is believed to impossible to play at this speed...well I did not know that at the time......LOL
